Actually yes.
I worked at Wendy's where they just had a flat-top grill. Did the whole "4-corner press" and everything. Very juicy.

One day, boss says "Were getting these new clam-style grills that will cook our patties way faster, it'll be easier to keep up with the orders"

McDonalds has clam grills too, but they've been using them for decades longer. I worked at both places for 2 years each. Guarantee its the clam grill. (it is basically a grill that closes down and grills both sides of the patty at the same time. - look it up)

there's literally no reason to get anything but a bigmac at mcdonalds. Every other giant fast-food chains do a better job with their own version of regular cheesburgers / quarter pounder / chicken sandwich
