I think a Whopper + Bacon would be novel, however, everytime I've gotten bacon at BK it is the saddest burnt cracker chips of "bacon" that offer nothing other than a hard crunch and the flavor of burnt shit, so I don't want to ruin my Whopper.

I have considered ordering a Whopper, then high tailing it over to Checkers, who in my experience has good bacon, and ordering some bacon to put on my Whopper, but then at that point I may as well just get a bacon cheeseburger from Checkers, and I never followed through with this plan.

With chain restaurants it really just depends on the location. I've seen some go from absolute shit to decent after a management change. BK still uses an actual flame broiler though, might be hard to believe since a lot of fast food is really processed but they aren't just adding smoke flavoring like some people say.

I'd take a whopper over another dirt cheap overprocessed fast food burger like a big mac or whatever they have at carls or jack in the box just by benefit of tasting like more than just salt and sadness, but it's pretty lousy compared to any actually good burger from a real restaurant or even just like mcdonalds' "deluxe" burgers.
