Why don't Asians seasons their rice before boil/steaming them? It tremendously improves the flavor and complexity by complementing the dish you're going to eat with, which literally has endless possibilities

Asians don't know much about cooking rice. They haven't been using it for long enough. Globalization is less than 100 years old, and they (especially China) remained isolated from the world market for some of that. They haven't had access to exotic foods until very recently.

not all bread in the west is flavored. i think most of the time they eat something with a sauce that will be used to flavor the rice too.

This.
Asians hardly ever cook with rice.

I was unaware that they didn't.
One of the first things you realize about rice is that it will absorb whatever the fuck you dump into it. So, that's not a unique discovery, probably was obvious to a lot of people right from the get-go.
When it's cooked in stock or broth that's pretty much seasoning it. Remember that especially with old recipes the more spice you use the more cost-ineffective eating is because spices can be real damned expensive. If you cook the fucker in sea water you've basically salted it.

Rice has its own flavor.

It depends what you use your rice for. If I eat spicy or flavorful food I like my rice unseasoned. The rice balances the food out. But you need good quality rice and cook it properly

because the rice is a palate-cleanser and dishes are often highly seasoned to complement the plain rice.

Because rice is never the main dish in Asia.
Fried rice is merely leftover food. Rice is eaten to complement other dishes.

Japan makes all kinds of seasoned rice dishes. Mushroom rice is a classic.
Tossing furikake on still-steaming rice is also a given.

korean side dishes are salty, so the rice must be bland.

Hmm, no I don't think so.

Note: seasoning rice, using stock instead of water, etc... these tricks that work just fine with white rice can sometimes fuck up brown rice and cause it to not cook properly.

There's no need when rice is usually eaten with a dish, if eaten alone, there's "furikake" for the Japs which is sprinkled bits of nori, dried fish and other bits that makes the rice tasty
