I found a white castle burger lying in the middle of the street in San Diego once. I took a picture and uploaded it to social media

I love the idea but every time I go it's underwhelming. Clam strips are extremely underrated. NJ btw.

It's actually so low quality at my closest locations that the frozen borgars you can get at CVS are at least 3x better.

Yes, it's because the burgers are not fried, they're cooked by steam only, the holes are so they can be cooked at fast food speed thoroughly inside and out. And when they're cooked, you can't even see the wholes, because obviously the meat changes by then

What the hell do you think, they take the time to cut out tiny pieces of beef to mash together into new patties? That would be like one new patty per every thousand cooked, waste of time

I only went there because it was open 24 hours, and lived in a ghetto area of Chicago. I was terrified to actually enter a place, so only used the drive thru. It was shit, but somehow felt safety in a locked car. Doesn't speak much for the quality of the food, but at least I didn't get killed. Now I live in the suburbs.

can't really taste it since they're soggy as all hell
i forgot to mention i also had those chicken rings, and they were pretty dry and mostly breading, hardly any chicken in it at all since they're so thin

The buns are small buns, they are equal size to the small patty as say, a McDonalds bun is to one of their patties

I always thought that White Castle was a west coast thing, but after seeing this thread I looked it up and it turns out I'm only a little over an hour away from the closest one. Weird how I've literally never seen one. Maybe next time I visit the shore I'll go get some.
