I tried Folgers once. It was terribly, horribly, unspeakably awful. Never again. Maxwell House is better, ffs. Maxwell House. And Maxwell House is bad. But Folgers? Folgers tastes like if your 20 year old dog's cancer diagnosis was a flavour. It is easily the worst of the big name/national brands.

There's a bit of a stigma with taking pills, not so much with drinking coffee. Most people enjoy the taste of coffee though and probably find it more enjoyable to sip a tasty cup compared to swallowing a pill.
