Not true in the slightest. I am 100% omni but the wife is a Vegan that actually knows how to cook and bake. If you're not some fat moron you have an entire world of cuisine. She cooks loads of Indian and Asian foods bursting with flavor. There are plenty of substitutes that behave very similar to animal derived products. You can make cream sauces with ripple. Soy curls are one of the most adaptive pieces of food there is and it has the texture and consistency of chicken and will pick up any marinade better than any meat. You can replace eggs in recipes with aquafaba and hardly notice a difference. The only thing vegans deny is animal exploitation and factory farming. The minute clean meat becomes a reality I will make the switch myself.
