This whole series really highlights that. It's like Gourmet Makes, but he has a handicap and still does a better job than Claire in less time

>> No.12644158

I always thought he was gay but he has a wife and kids.

>> No.12644193

>>12644158
yeah, no gay man has ever married a woman or had kids

Claire is a shit tier cook, I could cook near anything better than her

In the 2000's? In NYC? While working in the fashion industry? I think he's just effeminate, metrosexual used to be a word people actually used

>> No.12644448

I don't understand how he ever thought it was white onions, they taste super different

maybe it was the brine that assimilated the flavor of both?

In fairness, he's cooking a burger made by someone by the BA kitchen.

Why are people just now that he's hit rock bottom figuring out that Jamie Oliver is a mediocre chef who got hand picked by people in monkey suits because "he checks all the boxes!"? I called that he wasn't going to make it the second he started getting forced memed everywhere. Zero charisma, mediocre recipes, and a stupid gimmick he was bad at.

Was it, dare I say, epic, redpilled, based and kino?

Are they his kids? Maybe he does green card fraud or something

Chris actually starts fucking grovelling as soon as he finds out it's an Oliver recipe after spending the whole time ragging on Guy Fieri with no remorse. I really don't get it

>> No.12646580

just makes me wanna try that cheese

>> No.12646600

>>12646567
He wasn't actually making fun of Guy Fieri
He was just trying to think of Chefs who typically have signature burgers
He also named Flay as a person who could have made the burger

And let's face it, if it was guy's recipe, it'd have way more donkey sauce

I doubt anyone on Bon Appetit would rag on any bug name TV food personality. Of all the ones who deserve it, it would be someone like Guy or any number of the Food Network personalities who have no background to speak of. He's not a chef. I don't think he ever held any sort of cooking job. He went to culinary school after getting a job on Food Network, iirc, and was only into managerial stuff before that.

>shitty mediocre burger

Really? Looked fucking good to me. I would probably go with Dijon over yellow on the patty and skip the Brandy in the "slaw" as advertised I'd happily order and eat it. I don't think there is any one perfect burger and this checks more than enough boxes for me to eat.
