A $20 lunch is not out of my price range every now and then, but I'm not happy about it unless it's really something I'm craving. A $30 meal at a sushi bar or a $45 steakhouse dinner is perfectly acceptable because it's high value once you factor in taste and experience... but $18.03 for a fast-food burger and fries meal is a bad value, considering that i can get a comparable meal at a sit-down restaurant (+ tip) or make it myself for less. Five guys should not be 2-3x more expensive as other fast-food. That being said when I do feel like I want a 5 guys burger, I'll go there. The value is just way too low to make me want to go there often. I won't say for certain that i won't be back, but I'll probably make my own burgers next time I'm thinking about 5 guys.
