I understand that they are easy energy, but aren't you always better off just drinking coffee? You can get a cold coffee in a can or bottle pretty much anywhere, and its objectively better for you. I just can't fathom getting into them in adulthood knowing that they are made to be addictive with the sugar and other additives. Never had one, and never will.

If you keep your caffeine intake moderate, you can get a buzz from coffee. I mostly drink green tea and limit my coffee to when I really need the energy and I get wired. And if you eat foods And if you drink something with l-theanine like green tea alongside it, as well as eating some food that digests slow like grains, you'll get a longer energy kick without the energy crash you get from energy drinks. Doing it this way is sustainable unlike drinking energy drinks imo.
