I was in El Sagundo and it was a littel bbq place in a strip mall near the In&Out (which I tried as well) fuck me, the rest of the week I was there I was going to it whenever I got the chance

Eh, looks okay. The problem with most mainland Hawaiian places is that they don't have a lot of the staple plate lunch items. No lau lau on the menu and that's a hard 360 for me.

It's really nothing special, and is just a pretty basic slaw type dressing. The only thing unique about it is that it's fucking loaded with mayo (Best Food's - known as Hellman's in most of the country). I only posted it because I assumed OP is the same anon who's been on a rant about egg salad for the past few days. A typical Hawaiian plate lunch will have one scoop of mac salad and two scoops sticky kine rice, and then one or more proteins, and possibly 3-4 sides depending on how good the place is. Yeah, it's a shit ton of fat and salt and carbs, but nobody actually eats plate lunch for every meal. Either way, people are more active when they live in fucking Hawaii.
