It also varies considerably between locations here in the States. If I go back to my hometown in the Upper Midwest, its not bad. But here in the South they're generally shit. The economy is so good that employee quality is really low and it significantly reduces the quality of the end product.

Last time I went to the McD's near my house I walked in to find a cashier and a customer screaming at one another. Straight up ghetto shit. I turned around walked out.

Fucking Haight Ashbury is probably the sketchiest place I have ever been in my life, and I did a tour in Afghanistan. Homeless people and drug dealers everywhere, human shit everywhere, used needles and paraphenalia all over the ground. Fucking terrible.

I live in the american deep south and mcdonalds here is horrible because it's always staffed by niggers or obese coalburners. I went to one a couple of months ago. When i pulled up to the order screen the negress on the intercom greeted me by just slurring "mcdonalds." I'm pretty sure everybody working there was on heroin or something it sounded like they were halfway to a nod the whole time. I had to repeat my order at least 5 times (quarter pounder meal with a coke) before she got it right on the screen followed up with about 30 seconds of silence before she blurted out "$7.35" or however much it was. After about a 8 minute wait i finally got my food which was all room temp, they gave me a sweet tea instead of coke, there was no salt on the stale re-dipped fries, and the top bun of my burger was wildly stale and rock hard for some reason. I ended up just dumping all my food and trash out my window into the parking lot and leaving because it wasn't going to be worth it to try to get my money back. This is the mcdonalds in lafayette, la right by campus if anyone's wondering.

okay, SoCal American here, lemme tell you about my experience with McDonald's

Now I've arranged to use a Mcdonald's as a meeting point with some family, we weren't really planning to eat there but I got off work, I'm hungry, mostly thirsty, and read this whole spiel about "McDonald's being committed to improving the value of their meals and quality". It's been at least ten years since I've eaten there and I figure, 'why not?' I don't really remember why I stopped eating outside of being a braindead libtard who read Fast Food Nation.

So I order a big mac meal because fuck if I didn't love those as a kid. I take a bite... and the whole damn sandwich tastes like cardboard. I had to check to make sure I wasn't being so retarded I had bitten into the box and paper too.

But nope. The lettuce was like Styrofoam, the meat was bland as hell, I couldn't even taste the special sauce, the bun was but spongy somehow, and the fries were crap.

That is why I advise to you: don't eat at a southern californian McDonald's.
