SOME habaneros are that hot, most of them are nowhere near that hot and most strains are being bred to be as mild as possible, it's hard to get high end habaneros now. I've never had Pain's regular Habanero sauce, just their Garlic Habanero which is around 200k. Most of their sauces are on the hotter end.

Bumping this thread in hopes that some anons can help me.
I used almost exclusively tabasco for 20 years and have seen plenty of hot sauces that were too thick and didn't match up, and am looking for something similar to tabasco that actually turns up the heat. Watery, doesn't cover the taste too much, can be applied healthily or not and still give some heat.
Any suggestions?

Crystal Extra Hot is basically Tabasco with smoother vinegar and a little more heat. You'd probably want to explore hot sauces described as "Louisiana style".
