I like hot chicken but when it gets to a certain point the heat becomes too much. I like spicy food but at Hattie B’s I had their second hottest and I couldn’t finish it. My ears were ringing, face was flush, sweating. It’s just dried chili’s on the outside.

Best hot chicken is just standard hot. Enough zing and pain to make it enjoyable and not an act of outright sadism.
