Why does Wendy use square patties, also, do you like Wendy's food? I feel like McDonald does some things better.

It has to do with heat distribution. It was a surprise to me when I found that out after many years of pondering.
A circular patty has the heat distribute pretty well, but since it's such an odd shape and nothing in the world is naturally round, it leaves some stuff to be desired. More specifically, the corners (yes, circles have corners) are not completely as warm as the rest of the patty.
To circumcise this, Wendy's and their cooks came up with a really simple and genius idea: square patties.
Corners are as warm as the rest of the patty, so each bite is comforting and equal as the rest. Surprised no one else does it, but I guess they're just too stubborn to admit that their idea of a burger patty is wrong. Granted, the circular patty has been the most popular shape, so I can't blame them too much.

You're welcome, OP.

They're actually dice shaped, not square.

Wendy's has better nuggets and fries. Their cheap chicken sammich sucks.
Mickey D's has the superior cheap chicken sammich and double cheeseburger.

My only issue with Wendy’s is that I don’t particularly like their pickles. I think they use a bread and butter where I prefer a more sour pickle.

They use square patties so they can fit more of them in box when they ship em. Think about putting a bunch of stacks of circular patties in a rectangular box. You’ll notice that you in between each stack is some space where the circles don’t touch. That’s a loss for whoever is shipping this stuff. Empty space where nothing can be transported. Now imagine those same stacks but square. There shouldn’t be any empty space meaning more stuff is being sent in one trip thus saving on shipping costs and maximizing revenue.

I don’t know if this is true or not, it’s just how the logic worked out for me. I work in a warehouse btw so I think about boxes and shipping them a lot.

I used to get a side salad, small chilli bowl and a baked potato almost every night for lunch when I worked third shift. It was surprisingly cheap.

Like toasting the buns and nuggets and fries
both burgers are alright but because wendy's thinks only premium sandwiches need toasted buns, mcdonalds gets my top choice. and they have large drinks for a dollar.
now when will they have a combo meal of large drink, mcchicken, mcdouble, and small fry for 4 bucks?
I could care less about the shape of the patty

I can't think of a single thing McD's does better, besides having breakfast. The Quarter Pounder is disgusting compared to Dave's single

They've really gone down hill since the 90s. It used to be the place to go for the best fast food but now it's made by niggers.
