1) everything is overpriced. They jew you with a tiny box of corn muffin mix or paying for bananas one at a time but ends up being expensive for the same shit from another grocery. Dont get me started on their meat prices
2) the people shopping there are often annoying faggots. Lot of mac users shop TJ I reckon
3) by and large very unhealthy. Lot of very high sugar / carb items disguised as organic / low fat / juice-derived products
4) selection is actually not great. Some stores are larger but on average they dont stock the same variety as a larger grocery
5) I shop there for a few items myself a couple times a year (flowers especially) but some believe they're some kind of miracle are WRONG

brooklyn fag here, at least renting here.the supermarkets within walking distance of me (which is half ghetto and half gentrified) are fucking atrocious with pricing and TJ is the only place i can find reasonable prices on most food stuffs (veggies, meat, frozen food, coffee, spices), as well as regularly find mushrooms that arent less than a day from rotting.

TJ is filled with meme food and meme customers but i'm practically living off it right now. also, there's not as much niggers and way more QT girls.

Haven't been to the US in over a decade now. Used to be a Whole Foods regular but heard that they've been bought up by Big Agra and have become an Expensive Waste since last year. Heard that Trader Joe is still the choice when looking for Non-GMO, Chemical Farmed and Organic Food.

Considering going to Danvers, Massachusetts to also help out some friends. However i'd like to know if i would be sacrificing a healthy supply of food from where i live.
