Try just taking a b complex vitamin. I was always skeptical, and just pounded caffeine all day, but once I tried it I realized it was actually what my body needed. Caffeine stopped working and just made me tired and anxious, but B vitamins actually gave me healthy, usable energy.

Sleep a little better?
Try medicating your sleep, not your waking hours?
I suggest Vitafusion Sleepy gummis, which are valerian, camomile, and a few other herbs combined with melatonin. If you don't start feeling better in 1 week, with correct temperature at home for sleep, breathable sheets/jammies, 0% of light shining in your bedroom, soothing music/scents/boring reading to fall asleep. Try all the usual advice. If nothing works after about a week? See doc for a prescription solution. If the issue is getting tranquil and quieting the mind, there's the tranquil drug. If the issue is waking too early and not getting back to sleep, there's a short-acting drug for that. If the issue is sleep cycle interruptions, there's a better one, even.

For daytime, I'd suggest a time-release multivitamin B Complex. No peaks and valleys from when you take it to when you see effects continue hours later. Take a look at your diet, and slow your sugars like getting it from liquids, trade out simple sugar for more complex carbs combined with higher fiber, whole fruits only, no more sugar drinks. Peaks and valleys..the short-acting carb crash cycle is no joke, esp if you have some pre diabetic syndrome or possibly another medical thing undiagnosed.

For now, switch to some homemade iced tea, a sugar free way to drink your caffeine, and taper back without getting headaches. Peak max effect of caffeine for mental alertness is 3-4 hours after consumption. If you must have it to start moving, have it upon waking/breakfast, if not, wait until 10ish and use the shower to wake the brain. Then you repeat at lunchtime (3-5hrs later), or at the afternoon slump 3-4PM so you can do you drive home or errands on the way, and then consider whether you do or don't want a 4th serving with dinner that might interfere with sleep.

I also generally drink sugarfree energy drinks and coffee / yerba mate and my diet is decently healthy, I rarely eat sweets or fast food

I bought 7 oz of caffeine power 6 years ago and have barely made a dent in it. It's extremely easy to measure out 100-200 mg, which is what you'd get from 1 cup of coffee. Even if you fuck up, the LD50 of caffeine is 100x that, so you'll just feel jittery and awful for a few hours if you accidentally take 6x too much.

If you're already on a ton of meds it shouldn't be a problem getting an adderall script. Coffee is an occasional tasty upper if you're out in a social setting, and energy drinks are for middle school kids. Prescription addy is literally the only sustainable upper I've ever come across. you should talk to your doctor about it. taking more and more caffeine is only going to end up with you feeling tired more often because of constant caffeine crashes. could also just be a coincidence and you've built up a tolerance to your energy drinks. what are you drinking? about 50mg of caffeine at a time should be enough to give you a little boost for a few hours at least, but a lot of energy drinks have triple that amount which just makes you feel more tired once it starts wearing off.
