The chicken schnitzel is the best.
While other countries will use veggies, et al, the addition of sesame seeds with matzah powder IMO makes the crispyiest of schnitzel.

Kugel's pretty good and tasty. I like it with ice cream but my (jewish) wife says and her family think that it's sacrilege. Basically make a french toast mix, add sour cream and cottage cheese, add to part cooked egg noodles and put in the oven. Tasty as fuck.

Another good one is shakshuka but that probably doesn't fall under 'jewish', moreso middle eastern. Basically eggs poached in a spicy tomato stew.

It's dead simple - peel, wash and grate a potato, add half it's volume in grated onion, and enough flour and egg to form a thick slurry. add garlic aplenty, and pan fry globs of the slurry until there's brown on both sides. no need to deep fry.

The veal is the best. Veal fell out of favor in the late 80s due to thoughts of snuffing out young animals lives, and images of animals fed only mother's milk and kept in pens shitting down their legs unable to move were the scare tactics. This is when pork took up popularity. If it's not pork, then it is just breaded meat. Schnitzel implies german style, served plain with lemon, and traditional german sides, or else traditional german sauces like jaeger.

Matzah, aka cracker meal, does indeed have a long history of breading delicious crispy things, because it adds a toasted flavor. Cracker meal is especially delicious on fish breading, and to top baked casseroles. I add matzo ball mix to potato pancakes when I make them, and they get more golden when I panfry in my cast iron. Also, I use crushed cuban crackers which is like thick matzo, based unleavened crackers, for cuban croquetas (ham or leftover chicken blended with egg and crackers, rolls in crumbs).
Falafel mix (from a box) is an amazing chicken finger breading. It has herbs, spices and yes, sesame, and can be dredged by just rinsed and moistened chicken tenders. Oil your cooking pan with olive oil and drizzle more on top.

Agreed, but I am a poorfag grad student, and veal is too expensive. Also, I don't usually eat a lot of red meat unless I am making chamin, or it's a holiday meal. Chicken is my go to "meat" of choice.

My mom has/had a middle eastern man fetish and she'd always try to cook middle eastern food for them. I hate it. There's never really been any dishes that stood out to me as actually GOOD.
