Shopping for groceries is for women. Seeing as how I dont have one of those, I prefer to pay the $20 a month to have someone else waste 3 hours buying all my food and driving it to me and then when they show up I give them a $5 tip to put it all in the fridge/pantry and then also have them take the trash out but when theyre done I ask them to stay and talk to me because I dont talk to many people

What kind of third world country do you live in? Doing it all online means I get more choice than most supermarkets, don't have to deal with boomer retards blocking the aisles, and some nice wagie brings it up all the stairs for me. It only takes a few minutes to go through my favourites list and fill the basket.

Cashiers in all grocery stores are universally under age high schoolers, college students who give no fucks, and fuck ups in life

The butchers and produce people in the back of all but the most bottom barrel discount stores tend to actually be pretty knowledgeable and usually actually care about the product.

If they constantly are putting out bad shit the store becomes known as the store with rotting meat and veggies.

Plus the return policy is still the same and grocery stores make it extremely easy to return bad food if its within a week.

Not sure what OP is talking about unless Amazon fulfillment just do stuff retarded at his location. I tried the pantry thing once(because it was free) and my 10 items came in one big box. Everything from detergent to canned food to a bag of chips. Shitty thing is Amazon tried to automatically sign me up for the next month. Had to manually opt out a couple different times to avoid some dumb fee.

I use Instacart for almost all my groceries ($8.25/month free unlimited delivery) and don't have issues. When you pick out the groceries on the site you are given the option to choose a specific replacement and/or write out instructions. You get a text when they start shopping for you and can keep an eye on each item they pick out through the website or app. When they replace something you get an option to approve, refund, or change what they picked out. You can also message/text them directly, and they will often text you first if the store doesn't have quite what you asked for. As for freshness, I've had few disappointments in several years. If you unpack the groceries and something is broken, not fresh, incorrect quantity for what you were charged or some other problem, you can contact customer service and get your money back without pushback.

I guess that just depends on your situation. I found out about it when I was stuck in a wheelchair, and I needed someone to bring my groceries to the door. I kept getting delivery, because it turned out to be extremely convenient. Most of the time I just pick out what I want and don't worry about the additional measures unless I'm counting on them to bring me certain things. Like someone else said, if for nothing else, it's great for getting someone else to bring you heavy non-perishables especially when it's over 110ºF. It also minimizes being around shitskins, so I like that.

You tell them what you want. You tell them, "I want 1lb. 95% lean ground beef from the meat counter" and that's what they grab. It's not like you say "I want 1 lb. of meat and 3 lbs. of fruits and vegetables" and they just grab whatever they want.

Going to grocery stores is jarring, disturbing, and overloading. Their interiors are designed to attack your field of vision no matter where you turn, so that you give them money. This is why people get shoppers vertigo. Much better to just pick a few items on a list on my phone.

I work 40 hours a week, about most of that is spent staring blankly at a computer screen waiting for some idiot to send an email. Working long hours =/= being productive.
