It really depends on the location and type of walmart. There are walmart "neighborhood markets" that are small and nice especially if it's in a wealthier area. There are a few super walmarts near me that aren't bad compared with what you see on peopleofwalmart.com. They have practically anything you need you need to buy as well as hairdressers, optometrists, check cashing, liquor store area, and other stuff. The produce, deli, and bakery are always as good as other grocery stores in the area, and they have a huge selection of USDA choice, select, and grass fed stuff. The downside is how impersonal and soulless it feels. Walmart wagies are depressing as fuck and not very helpful. Walmart destroyed the fuck out of small local businesses years ago way before Amazon got big. I'm not asserting that all those wage cucks would have been carrying out their families' small business legacies before they lost everything to the bank and went bankrupt, but vast amounts of small local communities were obliterated by businesses like Walmart. It's like walking through a post-apocalyptic American consumerism wasteland, and it's not a very satisfying experience. I'm also not pinning all of this on mega corporations. People had to stop giving a shit about supporting their own communities in favor of inexpensive, crappy chink shit to save a few shekels in the short run which is the more depressing part. What makes most Walmart experiences even more abysmal is that they are usually frequented by the worst kind of people.

That's just my rundown on what factors lead people to shit on Walmart. I'm not holier than thou about any of that stuff. I order shitloads of stuff online from Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and Instacart for convenience and low prices. Since the Walmarts near me are quite decent, I mainly stay away due to the huge sensory overload and frustrating parking lot experience.
