melt a few tablespoons of butter in a pot, dump in cut up sweet potatoes, and the pour in enough milk to come up level w the potatoes. the simmer stirring every now and then until the potatoes just fall the f apart and the milk is reduced. Add a splash of vanilla or maple syrup or bourbon at the end. stir. serve.
