Cream means it is not a carbonara but a white sauce. Nothing wrong with a white sauce, much more versatile when it comes to ingredients, however it's just not carbonara.

Don't think I have ever tried Bolognese but I have mixed mince sauce with actual carbonara (eggs and guancale) what I got was a suave worse than either base sauce.

They're talking about "Pasta Carbonara Amerciano"... made with cream or even sometimes just milk, which is more retarded. The European version usually does not have dairy products added and looks classier.

I noticed the OP did not really cook the bacon enough, so it looks like ham. Or he was lazy and used ham instead of bacon. (fine to use prosciutto if it is seared to perfection, but not that really basic ham, which will always look pink and disgusting no matter what is done with it because of all the chemicals it's infused with).
