While I'm not one for kit hen gadgets these things are legitimately useful of you do a lot of puree or bisque or just any sauces. Being able to blend them in the pot or crush ice in the glass is really nice and so much less clean up.

2009 called and informed me that every single plate must have one pureed veg item on it. Bonus points if it's celery root.

If you enjoy making soup, yes.

combine this with the 8 point pour technology from the 230, and you can make your sauces and gravys right in the cast iron skillet, cook them off then pour from any position. the handle tech stays cool even when coming into a reverse sear

>>12428098
i know that this is a meme, but this skillet has 7 pour points. How are you supposed to use the one nearest to the handle?

They make me nervous, honestly.

I mean, I've seen them used over and over, but I don't understand why they don't cause the ingredients being mixed to splash upwards (or more specifically, what kind of fuck-up would cause that to happen?)

>> No.12428173

>>12428145
did you notice the handle, it stays cool so you can pour directly over it.

So is this literally the same person who spammed every thread with "butter chicken pizza" or whatever?

I have a good hand blender at home, and a mid-sized Robotcoup stick at work. I love them. Pureed soups, sauces, dressings, vinaigrettes, desserts... you can do more with them than just blend.

It happens. Getting splattered in the face with hot, syrupy coulis sucks balls.

Not a meme. It's actually said in the description.
