I work in a liquor store. We keep Hennessy behind the counter after too many people stole it. There's nothing good about it. It comes in extremely cheap cardboard. We have pallets of it and the boxes fall apart in your hands. When i've tried it it is extremely mediocre. I have so many white people buying the cheapest of bourbon and vodka, yet black people blow loads of money on Hennessy. Good for them if they can afford it I guess? I don't judge people. I work at a liquor store, I don't get that privilege. I just recommend them cheaper and better armagnac if they want help selecting their beverage.

That and patron silver. I don't get it. We don't keep grey goose behind the counter even though there was a group of three that was running out with cases of it. They pepper sprayed a poor girl who tried to block their path the last time. She still wanted to work out the day. I'm under no NDA and that shit was fucked. Yet we keep Hennessy, patron silver, and Remy behind the counter.

We have specials of 8 bucks off grey goose often. Maybe thats why.

Yes back in le right decade men were men and cognac was for us. I work in liquor as well and can also confirm this. Hennessy and Courvoisier are on permanent lock-up at stores now because niggers keep stealing them to either re-sell for drugs or just because they can.
The brands themselves suck for the money though, there’s much better Armagnac for the price out there and for cognac it’s a lot better to look around for a good $200 bottle that’s old at cask strength from an independent bottler as most crap like Martell Cordon Bleu is young hot trash where most of the money is spent on marketing instead of on what’s in the bottle.

I have a coworker who grew up in a black area, although he is not black he follows their cultural norms. I can confirm he pours cognac and good whisky into coca cola. When he wants to celebrate at a bar he'll order a more expensive brand of the same thing, in coca cola.
