Honestly mate, look for your 'oomph' elsewhere. Black coffee is bang fine as it is.

If you're making any variety of milky coffee, then cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg will do the trick, along with any other spice you might consider 'warm and sweet'

I put a pinch of salt in my coffee, it cuts down on the bitterness, and brings out other flavors

>> No.12403138

If you sprinkle a few grains, and I mean literally only a few grains, of sea salt into your coffee it can be good. Like an entire pot or french press only needs a few grains, it helps bring out the flavor.

For other spices, ginger and cinnamon seem like good additions if you put in a milk in as well.

Get some cinnamon. But not the shit fake stuff, get a bag of Ceylon Cinnamon. Incredibly good for you overall and adds a great flavor to coffee.

Saffron, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom all work.

Sodium citrate is great.

Potassium citrate brings up the "original beans" flavoring.

Other personal favorites are mixes amongst heavy creamer, stevia, and black and red pepper (in water, all together).
