Liver has a metallic aftertaste but it kind of works to be honest. It's an acquired taste and after you get into it, it feels more meaty than meat if that makes sense.

Overcooking it leads to the rubbery texture people don’t like. It’s great cooked right with onions and bacon bits and maybe some pierogies.
