Do NOT buy any AMERICAN made "cheese". It is total crap. Buy imported cheese. For a good melted cheese, go for cheddar or gruyere. Just make sure it is British cheddar or Swiss gruyere. Once you taste the original versions and then taste the American imitations, you will understand why.
