What's the most you've ever spent on a single item? Was it worth?
$72 on a bone-in porterhouse, 22oz, medium rare. Didn't think it would be but damn that was worth it.

Of course the porterhouse is bone in. Otherwise it’s just a ny strip and a filet mignon

Not exactly one item but I spend $200 - $300 on sushi a few times a year. Just lots of nigiri, like 20-40 pieces. Definitely worth it. I like sushi but I don't like to feel like I'm not getting enough, I want the quality and the quantity.

sushi is overated and gay, you could have invested that money into something better.

I once bought a whole prime aged beef ribeye loin for $230 and had it cut into 1 1/2 inch steaks. It came out to 11 steaks total, not bad. And they were fucking delicious and totally worth it. I've been wanting to do it again, but I have to buy a new chest freezer, because mine broke down a few months ago and I haven't bothered to replace it yet.

If you need to eat more than 8 pcs of nigiri in a single meal you are a fucking gluttonous degenerate fat piece of shit and need to make better habits.

I'm with you on that. I don't necessarily spend that much, but I wait to go out for sushi until I can buy as much as I want. Mainly because I hate rolls and only order nigiri and sashimi, plus a few other things like hamachi kama and certain specialty items, like when my favorite sushi place does their 3 course lobster special and things like that.

I honestly think I've never spent more than 5 euros on a single food item.

Porterhouse or Sirloin, you dunce.
>Filet Mignon

Why must Americans constantly come up with new names for established culinary items?
