excellent choice, that does look really good, I rarely order gravy with my breakfast. chicken fried steak is one of the best things to have gravy with.

My favorite local diner has a pretty big breakfast menu (they serve breakfast 24/7), but I usually get something that's close to what you have pictured. Two eggs sunny side up, sausages, hashbrowns, plus a choice of toast, english muffin, or scone. (I always get their marionberry scone, because they're fucking delicious). Sometimes, I'll mix it up and get the plate that has pancakes instead of hashbrowns if I'm really craving pancakes.

really great choices as well. my mom made me pancakes every sunday growing up, but have only had them 1-2 times in the past few years. marionberry is a great scone flavor. I usually bypass the toast unless im REALLY hungry, i which case I usually prefer sourdough or english muffin if they don't have an in-house made biscuit.

I used to always get dutch baby at the diner (with a side of sausage or bacon), but they sadly closed after being open for over 45 years. :(

It's basically an oven pancake but the batter puffs up really high around the sides, and they would serve it with lemon and and little powdered sugar over the top. Really fun to eat, and tasty. I'm going to be experimenting with making it myself at home, since I can't go there anymore. Yeah, that diner lasted a long time, but original owners died and the family didn't want to take over, and they didn't want someone else to take it over and change it either, so they just decided to close. I can respect that, but it's still sad, it was a great old place, with great breakfasts and great coffee.

A waffle, two sausage links, 2 eggs scrambled, and hashbrowns (with jalapenos of course).

Coat the eggs and hashbrowns with hot sauce and pepper. dip the link sausage in syrup. Serve with coffee. 10/10 everytime you can't go wrong.

Huevos Rancheros with a side of hashbrowns.

Sunnyside up eggs, bacon and sausage. Coffee and what they call a scone in Utah. It's just a yeast dough fry bread served with honey butter. Shit is great even though the name is absolutely wrong.

I only ever go out to a diner for breakfast when I have a paper to write and I have to go to ihop or waffle house because no actual diner in my college town for some reason. Once or twice a semester I set up in the middle of the night for a couple hours and get a shitload of pancakes, biscuits and sausage gravy, or country fried steak. The only three choices
