Au contraire, when I worked at burger king I made all of my food for this reason specifically. I will not visit burger king after having worked there, I specifically remember an old black lady named brenda who had only two teeth, never changed her gloves, and microwaved everything (including items with mayo). Another man, Jerry, would grab the raw meat and feed it directly into the machine, then, without changing gloves, proceed to make sandwiches on the line. The quality control is negligible, I couldn't have spit on the food, but as far as basic contamination (anything in the fridge, the sauces, and changing gloves) I had free reign over people's food.

The first one I ever ordered was essentially a double Whopper with eight strips of bacon.
The second one only had mayonnaise, ketchup, and like three slices of bacon.
Same location, no special alterations to the sandwich on my part.
