also depending on where you live the regulations on what can be sold as free range and how thoroughly these regulations are checked might not be sufficient to guarantee the chickens are actually doing well.

I've been eating bug proteins for years now. It's good and nutritious along with things like favabean products. Never felt better about my eating habits.

Sadly this stuff is expensive. The company is a startup from some food science guys thatmet up at their univerity of applied science. I also had hopes of worm protein as an economic and environmentally friendly protein scource.
Well, they went with environment friendly and are basically marketing for health and good feelings, targeting the hipster crowd.
