Please specify, there are thousands of different variants of these. In fact I can't come up with a country that doesn't have a special variant of meat loafs.
I usually prefer simple ones made from veal or lamb. Adana kebab is great if you have a grill or make it slav style if you don't. Where I live they usually mix it with hydrated bread crumbs and onions, which gives them a softer texture and taste.

Wasn't aware that meatloaf is the equivalent of "Hackbraten" or "Falscher Hase" literally fake rabbit what we usually call it locally. Though meat loaf and hamburgers/rissole are often prepared similarily where I life. Like adding bread crumbs, fresh herbs and vegetables like onions. We usually add a boiled egg inside.
