Basically he makes food from TV shows and movies, although he often will do a sort of "authentic" reproduction (which often isn't very good) and then he'll do a version with some creative licence, which is usually much better.

He's the reason I became interested in cooking. Until then my only exposure to cooking shows were the stale programmes on TV that my mum used to watch. Now I subscribe to several youtubers who all make cooking seem less like hard work by being entertaining, which gave me the confidence to actually start cooking for myself.

I used to really like him, he would recreate interesting foods from tv shows and had basic instructional episodes to learn how to make like sauces or stuff.

Now the recreation episodes are any dish he can think of as long as it has been seen in a movie/show (i.e. Tacos from [whatever]) and the instructional videos are just dishes he cant seem to have found in a movie/show. Its boring.

I actually made a few of the recipes, like the goodfellas sauce, the garbage plate and the burger from the wire. They're not all horribly complicated messes. I've been following him for a long while though and I have to say it's kind of sad how he shifted from making more grounded stuff from 80s/90s kino to making food from cartoons and anime to please the zoomer crowd.
