I work at a hospital and there is this Nigerian woman who works as a tech. She is hostile, rough with patients, and not very helpful. However, when we talk about food and cooking, she loves to talk about the Nigerian recipes she makes. She also seems to pride herself on the fact that none of her recipes require any utensils to eat. Like you just eat the rice, beans, aromatics, meat and shit with your hand. She even shows me the proper way to position the fingers to optimize scooping. I'm just sitting here like "well why don't you use a fucking spoon or a fork you fucking bush savage?" but I'm white, so I guess I'm just privileged. Fuck this gay earth and fuck people who intentionally eat things with their hands that would be easier and more sanitary to eat with utensils. This isn't still 400 BCE, for fuck's sake.
