I went mushroom hunting today in central Iowa and found these growing on a standing tree. I’m not sure what they are called, but they don’t look or smell poisonous so I think I’ll try cooking them up. Does anyone have advice on how to cook these?

The ones on the bottom row are oyster mushrooms, not sure if the top row are the same.
I got a bunch yesterday in Seattle. Kind of tough to clean all the dirt from the gills, but they're delicious.

Enjoy poisoning yourself. Be sure to share the meal with friends and family and update us when you're in the hospital.

Those are all oyster mushrooms, kinda groovy looking ones, but oysters nonetheless. Fried up with some butter pepper and salt theyre really good

I'm not OP, I was just wondering why there would be an egg in the park. Chickens live on farms and people eat chicken eggs, not duck and turkey eggs.
