Czech cuisine is pretty similar to austrian, german or hungarian. As we were part of the austrian-hungarian empire...
Its pretty heavy on fat, we love soups, pork and chicken

No radioactivity in Czech Republic AFAIK. Are you thinking Ukraine, maybe? Also, CR uses maybe three spices. They use more herbs, but even those aren't used as much as other countries. Really, the cuisine is just hearty, unpretentious and pleasant, much like the people.
Spicy dishes they've adopted from Hungary have been nerfed because most Czechs can't handle chili a whole lot.
