Honestly, who wins in a cook-off?
Both at their peak and lusting for victory, who comes out on top as the better chef?

Gordon. Marco is old and forgotten.

>> No.12142856

You begin by seasoning the both of them. You season Gordon with some salt and pepper... and for the Marco we make a paste with Knorr™ Chicken Stock Cube.

The beauty of the Knorr™ Chicken Stock Cube is that it seasons and it doesn’t wash off. The one with Knorr™ comes out on top. Every time.

Don’t just take my word for it though.

You should try it.

Marco easily wins.. Ramsay absorbed the essence of what marco had created and then distilled it into something that was commercially viable and a persona that was palatable to the masses. Hes an asshole but hes not a misanthropic bummer to be around. However, he also hasnt ever revolutionized or innovated food/dining.

He lacks the rebellious “fuck the rules” attitude it takes to even consider trying seared foie gras with bluefin tuna loin. Le knorr shill is broke but at least he has a legacy.

You mean in the whopping whole two years they worked together?

Ramsey was just a cook under him. Most of his restaurateur experience came before Marco, and when he opened his 3 star. His culinary experience mostly came from cooking in France.

I don't know where people got this idea that Marco was his life long mentor. He wasn't.

MPW would throw because he couldn't stand losing if he actually tried. Gordon wouldn't even consider the possibility of losing.
