according to the teafags, what is the best quality/brand/source of tea?

Do I have to go to goddamn indo-china to get a decent cup of tea? (motherfuckers)

what do the tea patricians of /ck/ say?

If you want good tea you will have to find someone that gets it straight from the plantation. You can find some tea shops that get their tea directly from some farm in China or order online. My local teashop has connections and the owners take a business trip to China every year. I use this site for online shopping. https://verdanttea.com/
Check out their 5 samples for $5 deal

Either way if you order from China make sure you get organic because they have nasty pesticides over there.

This would be correct.
Every decent city/town has an herb shop or a specialty tea shop. I know right where mine is. Best tea this side of the Mississippi.

First leaves from the first harvest of the year from the top of the bush
>brand
If it's a brand then it's a blend of low quality leaves from multiple estates mixed to achieve a particular brand taste profile, so you're on your own there m8
>source
Dedicated tea import shop that deals with tea esatates directly.
If you ask the shop owner about a particular tea they ought to be able to tell you what kind of sauce the estate owner had on his thanksgiving turkey last holiday.

Brand merchants usually get the best shit from producers because they buy in large amounts and they buy often. Your shitty tea shop probably gets old garbage at a high price which they will resell to you at an even higher price.

"the best shit" is hardly available in large amounts in the first place.
Your brand literally sweeps dirt off the floor and sells it as """orange pekoe"""
