had this once at a South African restaurant. was alright. I think the appeal is you can take it with you easily in a to-go kind of situation because it's all contained in a little bread bowl otherwise nothing special

Like not every street food can be elevated; bunny chow is literally just cheap curry and you can eat the container it comes in.
