It will happen at cheap as fuck fast food joints and reduce employee staff.
Not every job is going to be automated.
There is going to need to be people there to deal with customer complains, cleaning and kitchen breakdown, and I assume "reloading" ingredients into these machines.
Plus there will be jobs created for the installation, maintenance, and upgrades to these machines as well.

The real impact for automation is when it ramps up for truckers, farmers, and taxis.
Net losses from those jobs is going to be the big one. There are entire generations of people who are going to be out a fairly high paying job.
No riots are going to start because burger flippers get replaced, its a shitty job nobody wants to begin with.
The shit is going to hit the fan when we start automating jobs that pay over 40k per year.

You laugh but I've worked as a technician in a factory and once you get shit dialed in a team of like 12 people can make 150,000 units of a product in a day, just keeping the robots running. Small scale is in it's infancy but as wages increase demand increases, and engineers innovate. There will still be a few technicians keeping things set up and an engineer on call when something breaks down but they'd rather spend $15 on a technician or two than hire a full team of people for the same price to do the same job. It's certainly not there yet but it will be.

Good. Working in fast food is shitty work that no one enjoys. This brings us one step closer to post-scarcity. The ideal society is one where automation takes care of menial, necessary labor and the population is free to pursue their passions. When fast food made by robots from ingredients farmed by robots, humans are free to operate small traditional farms without the fear of starvation because they enjoy that lifestyle, or become professional chefs who make stuff the old fashioned way because they enjoy it. The transition will be rough but automation will free the human race to become self-actualized individuals.
