This is one of my favorites. But you can probably get away with using like half the amount of cayenne. Especially if you use good quality stuff rather than McCormick brand shit which I think is what the recipe assumes.

/ck/ needs to put together an honest to god cookbook one of these days.

Not a shitpost one, but a real cookbook with actually good and based recipes. and maybe some nice /ck/ spins on some classic recipes and dishes.
A cookbook with real recipes that are truly good but written with the classic shitposter flavor and whatnot. it'd be nice.

Cooked first. Fried rice is a "using up leftovers" dish, so it's usually made with cold rice from yesterday. Straight out of the bag would be like eating dried pasta.
Most rice cookers aren't smart, they just blast heat until the water's boiling, then sit at a medium simmer until it boils dry, they rely on the user adding the right amount of water. I just taste it. If it's still crunchy and the water's run out, you can add a splash more and put the lid back on for a few minutes. The main fuckup potentials are drowning it and stirring it around so it ends up like mush (although that sort of rice does get used for different dishes), or getting impatient and cranking the heat until the bottom burns.
