Carnivores generally don't taste too good. Also, they've been too useful to us (for mousing or guarding, for instance) to consider as food except in famine situations.

All cities worldwide will have some Chinese places which sell cat.
I have had the tests done myself, and the lab resutls confirmed that one city centre place near to me was selling cat.
You can tell by washing any sauces off the meat, and examining it. If it's grey with a blue-silver sheen to it, it's cat.

Dogs proved far more useful as hunting companions and eventually pets than they did as food.
Cats are adorable and are nowhere near as rewarding to farm as other domesticated animals.
