All cities worldwide will have some Chinese places which sell cat.
I have had the tests done myself, and the lab resutls confirmed that one city centre place near to me was selling cat.
You can tell by washing any sauces off the meat, and examining it. If it's grey with a blue-silver sheen to it, it's cat.

because primarily predatory animals smell weird and got weird smelling meat, even fresh meats smell significantly more rancid than most herbivores like horses, bunnies, guinea pigs, cows and deer.

the only notable outlier are pigs and chickens which are omnivores.
