I am a very tall and very skinny guy, I eat normally but sometimes I just feel like I want to keep eating something small. Or maybe just chewing on something.
Chips and such work pretty well, but they get to be pretty expensive, mostly because they don't last as long.

This is mostly hunger that disappears once I am actually doing something. But when just chillin' I wanna eat stuff, but got nothing to eat.

I was wondering if there was something quick and cheap to make/cook in a large batch to just slowly eat away.

Anything coming to mind?

Chew falim gum
Alternatively make popcorn, buy the dried kernels and microwave in a glass bowl then dress with a little olive oil and salt, maybe some nutritional yeast if you're into that

Bich lasagna
Yeah, too much work to make myself and not cheap enough to buy pre-made...
Although it might not be a bad idea.

>>12030859
I don't count that as 'chillin

Raw baby carrots. Stick one end in your mouth and eat a tiny bite at a time until its gone. Rinse and repeat. Keeps your hands free and your mouth busy.

This is actually pretty funny, I might do that :D

Also, if I was to make a bigger batch of something, it has to last a long time before it spoils.
Although yeah, I am being the Captain Obvious here...

sunflower seeds
the thinkers snack
you'll struggle at first to figure which cheek you like to put them in and which molars to crack (but not shatter) them in. i prefer salt and pepper ones, some barbecue flavors are okay, and there's a Vlassic Pickle version I can't find often but are really good.
eventually you'll just toss them in your mouth and position them, eat them, and spit out the shells without thinking.

Tap water and an ice tray.. Or you go to a fast food establishment or school cafeteria and collect ice from the drink dispenser

and popcorn

popcorn kernels are 75c/lb this week in my area
I microwave them in a paper lunch sack then out them into a bowl and spray them with butter-flavoured spray then dust them with super fin. salt.
>>12030836 suggests using a glass bowl in the nukebox, and i'm not knocking it, but that seems weird. wouldn't the kernels pop all over the fucking place? shouldn't it be lidded?

>>12030942
carrots take forever to go off and popcorn kernels even longer.

>>12030766
while i preferred popcorn while i was at uni, one of my friends back then ate croutons. he'd buy cheap-o white bread from some ghetto supermarket, cut it into cubes and put it in the toaster oven, first at low temp to dry it out, then tossed with garlic/parsley/parmesan/olive oil and baked at a higher temp to crisp up
i don't like it for studying cuz it's greasier than popcorn and i hate getting grease all over my study materials

Pumpkin seeds are my go to snack but the best ones I can find around here are Bigs and they're like 4.59 a bag so it's a little overwhelming and I've been wanting to learn how to roast them myself but they're really fucking tasty
