eating healthy food regularly makes you accustomed to it. i dropped soda, fast food, etc. cold turkey and forced myself to cook every day and lost a lot of weight doing so.

another thing i noticed is that my body started feeling "full" again, but not in the way i felt after eating a bunch of mcdonalds and it hurt in a pleasurable way. my body just said "you're full" and i knew to stop eating. for some reason, this feeling didn't happen when i was eating junk. i used to be able to down an entire box of kraft dinner by myself, but now i can barely eat a quarter of one.

Eat very little fat (like 20 grams per day), and don't snack, and eat only twice a day, and use an exercise bike 1 hr a day. That's all you have to do. meals should be hot wet carbs, like oatmeal, pasta, potatoes, beans, bread. vegetables, non fat dairy. lean chicken breast.

Literaly exercise, i work as a manager at a pizza place and i take home pizza 6 days a week, its almost the only thing i eat, and i certainly dont make healthy ones. But i train twice a week and work standing up for six 5 to 8 hour shifts a week plus another 2 hours cleaning for my uncle's business. Ive lost like 5 kilos in the last 2 years without even trying, ill admit it could be partly genetics and also partly from the constant stress levels but just saying.

I'm somewhat underweight. I just have a hard time enjoying food, somehow. Whenever i feel hungry, i won't always have an appetite (dunno if this makes sense), so often i drag out the time before i eat, or eat just enough to stop the hunger. I got so used to this that the hunger disappears for a few hours entirely, and when i eat, one or two bites make the hunger disappear, but i still know that i have to eat.
I'm really lazy and I'm used to plain tasteless food, 90% of my meals are microwaved main meals like spaghetti or mashed potatoes with a topping of some sort of boring meat & vegetable sauce. I've considered making better food, but again, I'm lazy and have little time or energy.

It's simple, OP.

1. Completely eliminate any sodas from your diet. This includes Diet or Coke Zero. NO FUCKING SODAS. PERIOD.

2. Completely eliminate fast food from your diet. I don't mean "hurr cheat day" once a week. I mean CUT IT OUT COMPLETELY.

3. Avoid eating processed foods. A good rule of thumb is that you should only buy groceries that are on the outermost walls of the grocery store. This will pretty much limit you to fresh produce, raw meats you have to cook yourself, etc.

4. Try to cut back on eating breads, pasta, rice, and dairy.

5. If you have a sweet tooth then you need to limit that shit to maybe once a week. Most sweets are just sugar and fat and you don't need that if you're trying to lose weight.

6. Exercise. Even if it means just walking 2 miles every day at least do something.

I just aim for about 2000 calories per day and keep soft drinks/juice to a minimum. A typical day will look something like this for me:

Breakfast:
>two egg cheese omelette (with a bit of bell pepper if I'm not too lazy) cooked in about half a tablespoon of butter; two slices of bacon
or
>an egg or two scrambled with two slices of bacon put on a tortilla with about 1/4 cup of shredded cheese, a diced up slice of tomato and a teaspoon of chipotle mayo
or
>a bowl of Mini-Wheats (usually measure out 21 pieces) with a cup of milk measured out (what doesn't go in the bowl I just drink)

Lunch:
>leftover chicken breast or some turkey deli meat on a sandwich with a slice of cheese, a slice of tomato and a teaspoon or so of mayo; tuna sans all those toppings (except the mayo I already stir in) is an option too
or
>some kind of leftover like Tuna Helper if I had it the night before (I already have it in even portions usually the night before)

Dinner:
>depends on where I am calorically; could be anything from a burger to some Kraft Dinner and a chicken breast to some pork chops with sauteed mushrooms and/or asparagus, etc.

Snacks:
>generally try to avoid but if I have something it's usually a bowl of dry cereal like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, a dish of frozen yogurt, a decent sized chunk of watermelon, some toast with crunchy peanut butter and jam, or something as simple as a medium Ice Cap (Canadafag), etc.

Drinks:
>most of the time it's just water (usually drink 1 to 3 cups per day) or milk (use about 4L every ten days, most of it used for just drinking)
>juice is quite rare, pop is maybe once every two weeks

okay fatty, here's the difference. It's not a one day thing. You didn't get fat because you ate an extra donut once.
You got fat because you've spent YEARS eating 300-500 calories extra calories per day than you need to on average.
Skinny people are skinny because even if they consumed 3500 calories drinking and eating a whole pizza on friday night, they ate only a snack on other days. Their average calorie intake versus their average calorie burn, over the years, kept them at a skinny equilibrium. Do you understand?

So I'll sometimes eat only twice a day, and maybe all that'd be is just snacks or a small meal that's quicker to make because it is small.

I don't know how to order food and don't have a car to drive myself anywhere, so getting anything outside of the house is really time consuming. And because I really don't even know what I like anymore, I rarely have anything stocked at home to eat either.

Eating slowly just until full (not until stuffed) and eating mindfully I think are good ways to stay pretty skinny. I'm average weight and bmi.

I've read that you get pretty fucked when you eat garbage all the time though, like your ability to taste and register yourself as feeling full gets out of whack. So I guess for a fat person you have to force yourself to start eating not-garbage for a while. But anyone can practice mindful eating, even if they're mindfully eating garbage.

I’m also on the half my calories daily from alcohol diet. I try to eat around 1000 calories of actual food so I get some nutrition. I’m usually to hungover to eat anything in the morning and sometimes lunch. So breakfast is coffee and water and then at dinner time I usually eat a substantial 1000 calorie meal then it’s back to my cheap vodka.
