Fucking Bosnia/Herzegovina is the land of giants with the average being a little over 6 goddamned feet tall, but France and Germany are 5'8" and 5'9", though Germany reports 5'11" in some urban areas for some reason. I'm from a smaller town in the American southeast. I graduated high school in 2012 and the average height for guys in my class was probably 6'-6'1". I was just a hair over 6'2" and I didn't know that I was "tall" until I picked up a summer contract in New Jersey. I was stunned. I genuinely thought the average for developed countries was like 182 cm until I started wading through the seas of munchkins that apparently make up the coastal areas of my homeland.
