It gets worse.

Those meals are SHELF-STABLE. No refrigeration required.

i have never understood who eats this shit and shit like this. it's not even cheap god dammit. fucking gross. i am the cook in my relationship but when my fiancee decides to cook she at least goes all out and makes bad ass Cajun food *she was born and raised in Louisiana and is from an old family there.* i would honestly be pretty pissed if i was served this for dinner.

random side note. it's the weirdest fucking thing with her. she has like 5-6 family recipes she can MURDER any time she cooks them but can't really make shit else lol. she is not a good cook. but she cooks a few things well.

as an american i can say i would never buy this or eat this unless there are extreme circumstances involved. i can say sadly though i'm sure plenty of people do eat these.

I don't eat that, but I will have SPAM in general. I eat maybe 1/8 of a can at once, usually fry it up with eggs for a quick breakfast, sometimes make a "SPAM-wich" (hamburger bun, heated, mayo, cheese, hash brown, fried egg, then a thin slice of fried SPAM). It's pretty good that way. Not sure why you'd want it shelf-stable and mixed with potatoes.

>> No.11945649

>>11945620
A. spam is shelf stable
B. i love spam and it has fewer and better ingredients than people think. in fact only 6 ingredients are used. two cuts of pork, salt, potato starch, sugar and sodium nitrate.

BUT those are horrifying monsters of meals. it's not even real spam they add machine separated chicken and other shit to it. also spam egg and cheese sandwiches are the bomb and egg sluts are sent from the heavens to make taste buds happy. this is from somewhere else.

I can't imagine it's any better than this stuff. It can't be much worse, though. I tried them because having something extremely convenient packed away is nice, but they are awful. Pic was the best out of 3 I tried, but all smell like dog food. I might prefer the dog food in this >>11945563 case. At least it's cheaper.

>wife serves me this
Let me give you some personal insight on the matter.

I've been with my wife for 10 years now. We met in high school, and I got her pregnant.
She is and always has been a lazy person and a shit cook. I wouldn't even mind eating shit food if she at least made it on time. But she rarely did.

We'd get into screaming arguments constantly about how lazy and worthless she was. I felt like an asshole for it, but goddamn she was a real piece of work. The only reason I dealt with all this was for the kids, and also because the sex is great.

But one night, I got fed up. Not only did she get drunk, neglect the kids, and made me top Ramen for dinner, but she decided to give me attitude too. She was being real fucking bitchy. So I told my grandparents to keep an eye on the kids and told my wife we were going to go out and have dinner together. I drove maybe 3 blocks to a quiet area (we live in Oregon, it's not hard to find a quiet field) and I got out of the car, went around like I was going to open her door for her and let her out, and I just beat the shit out of her while she was still seatbelted. After a few punches, I asked her if she wanted to go back to her parents. She started screaming and yelling and said yes, so I beat the shit out of her again. Then I asked her what she wanted to do. She finally got smart and said she wanted to go home. So I took her home and dared her to start trouble. I even handed her my cellphone and dialed her mom's number on the drive home. I made her talk to her mom, while daring her to fucking say something.

Before that incident, I had never laid a hand on her. But I had always threatened it. I told her "one of these days, if you don't straighten up, I'm going to lay hands on you."

All my meals have been on time, and she just recently tried to make a meatloaf. It was mediocre, but I was just thrilled that she tried.

Do with this information what you will.

I didn't have the stew. Hormel beef stew has never been good. I decided to give their other stuff a chance, but I do not know why. If the stew was that greasy, I am surprised the lasagna wasn't. I guess the processed cheese holds the grease in better so it's not so much of an oil slick.

Health doesn't mean anything when you're looking for something to microwave for a minute and a half so you can chow down. You could probably leave it on a dashboard in the summer for a half hour and get the same results, but >>11946433 makes me want vomit thinking about it. On the other hand, cold stuff doesn't smell as much, so it might be easier to get down. You might be on to something.
