Didn't see a bread thread so I thought I'd start one. Pic related is some raisin and coriander bread I made recently. It's about 85% Great River organic WW bread flour, 15% rye flour, sourdough leavened. Tastes very gud bros, I've never tried putting herbs or spices into bread before but I think I'll be doing it a lot more in the future.

Looks good. I like to put herbs in my bread too. If you overdo it with strong herbs like thyme it will taste like shit though.

Really stupid question but I live in a small dorm but I do have a small kitchen but my fire alarm is extremely sensitive will baking bread in the oven cause mass smoke or should I use a bread maker IDK I don't like cooking in my dorm cause my fire alarm gives me anxiety

How do you guys feel about bread machines? I love mine. I tried this recipe for sweet potato yeast rolls with my machine and thought they were worth sharing! I baked them as a side to go with fried pork ribs, collard greens, and mac n cheese.

Thanks. I highly recommend spelt flour. Gives the bread lovely nutty smell and taste and the texture was great as well. Fluffy, chewy and light crumb with nice semi-crunchy crust.
