With that said, we have some sort of "Mac and Cheese" in Italy, but it's done with a very specific kind of cheese, and usually only with small pasta (spaghettini, farfalline, ditalini, conchigliette, etc).
It's something you eat when you're sick or in the winter.

I was sceptical at first seeing as how gnocchi itself isnt a favorite of mine.
