My ex girlfriend lives in the states and everytime I would visit the US her family would take us there. It was a culture shock to say the least. Every single time I went there I saw at least one person wearing a literal bedsheet as clothing, and every time I ate with a napkin in my lap and knife and fork in hand I would get "lol anon why you eat so funny" cause apparently Americans only stab their food with a fork and cut it with their teeth. 7/10 would go back I miss biscuits and gravy and whatever those hush puppy things are.

The food isn’t bad and I’ve never left unsatisfied, it’s the people that are fucked and make it a horrible experience, especially on a Sunday. Haven’t been to one in like 10 years tho

I am also from Canada. Nobody except those retards who unironically wore fedoras and suits in high school and still do into adulthood does this.

I pretty much agree with all the posters that don't really have a problem with Golden Corral, other than their clientele. There is a sort of stigma against the place that makes me feel guilty every time I eat there, and quite frankly, the stigma generally holds true. There is the occasional normal family or couple that eats at the place, but for the most part, I've seen lots of disgusting creatures, grossly overweight, and just seem like uneducated people that I wouldn't enjoy associating myself around. Plus, the terrible restrooms. That being said, I don't find the food bad. Like another anon said, the bourbon street chicken is great, and I've always found the buttered dinner rolls they give you great as well. I have also never found anything wrong with the vegetables they serve, or the meats, (although they tend to taste a bit cheap).
