I think I remember reading peanut allergy is extremely rare in Israel because pureed cooked peanut is frequently used in baby food, and babies there have early and frequent exposure to peanuts. Other types of food allergies occur in Israel with similar frequencies to Europe or the U.S., but a very low level of peanut allergy is an outlier.
