Can't be even conditioned to drink it, it's that bad. Alcohol altogether is fucking garbage, the feeling it gives is shitty from beginning to finish.

The only reason to drink any alcohol is to get drunk. If you don't like that feeling, don't do it. I was hooked from the very first time I felt an alc buzz, the taste no longer mattered, I would guzzle anything with alcohol to get to that numb comforting state

I kinda just powered through it when I was young, hard to remember those days. It was of course gross at first, but if you had a couple shots of gin or vodka, it became drinkable. And eventually it became enjoyable.

Maybe you should stick with one and get comfortable with it. I'm American so I was basically drinking all shitty beer until maybe 23 I started to branch out and try other things. I'm 30 now and I like my piss beer again. It's cheap and comfy. I won't pass up sours or saisons though, they are my favorite to try when I'm at a bar or brewery.

don't listen to all these retards telling you to drink 'nice' beers or dark beers. Just drink cheap piss, it's the most palatable thing if you don't like beer, eventually you'll get used to it, and as you get older you like bitter food more like beer.

I think beer (and other alcohol) is mostly an acquired taste, so you'd just have to get use to drinking. I used to hate beer but now I like the taste of it.

Longtime bar manager and distribution rep here. Its helpful not to think of beer as just "beer". It is not like liquor or wine where theres not a large difference between tastes excepting quality. Beer can be creamy, crisp, thick, toasty, sweet, tart/sour, funky, bitter, with flavors of pretty much any fruit ever whether its from hops, yeast, or actually brewed with it. Craft beer bars are starting to take off around the country more and I'd recommend finding a good one. Just ask for a few samples of interesting sounding stuff or talk to someone who seems really knowledgeable / experienced and you'll find something you like.
